The Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) is a pivotal government body operating under the Transport and Mass Transit Department of the Government of Sindh. Formed in October 2017 through the Sindh Mass Transit Authority Act, 2014. The authority is entrusted with the mission to design, develop, operate, and maintain role in reducing traffic congestion, promoting sustainable transport solutions, and enhancing mobility for all citizens.
